About Starfish Hypnosis
Susan M. Blasi, RN, MA, CADAC, HC

Susan’s journey has been one of continuous growth and exploration.
With a background as a former operating room registered nurse, her compassionate care extended beyond physical healing into emotional and spiritual well-being.
After years of working in a monastery in New Mexico—immersed in scripture and monastic life—Susan earned a degree in Psychology and Spirituality, a testament to her dedication to understanding the intricate connections between mind, body, and soul.
Her quest for knowledge didn’t stop there. She delved deeply into scripture and Jungian dreamwork, recognizing the profound insights these disciplines offer to those seeking guidance, self-discovery, and the invitation to experience the love and mystery of the Triune God.
Having studied meditation and brain function throughout her career in nursing and counseling, she understood that the unconscious mind—reinforced by her work in psychology and Jungian theory—can be tapped through hypnosis.
She discovered that hypnotherapy helps athletes, professionals, and individuals overcome obstacles such as confidence issues, anxiety, and performance blocks.
Susan sees hypnosis as a powerful tool to unlock unconscious blocks—not as a spiritual method, but as a focused practice using specific techniques to relax the mind and receive positive affirmations.

This lifelong pursuit of wisdom culminated in a Master’s degree in Holistic Health and certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor—reflecting her wholehearted commitment to a comprehensive and integrative approach to wellness. Most recently, she added hypnotherapy to her list of certifications.
Susan is also an avid golfer and has found success in many sports. Many years ago, while growing her game, Susan studied aspects of the mental game in golf and was introduced to hypnotherapy. The sessions proved highly beneficial, prompting her to explore the field more deeply.
